We will examine the variety of insert shapes and grades and the Carbide, CBN, PCD, and Ceramic solutions available in our Mitsubishi Materials product line, and discuss the differences between Positive and Negative inserts, their advantages, and the appropriate situations in which to utilize them. You will learn how to select the proper Turning and Boring holders by application, and calculate machining speeds and feeds through formulas in our most recent product catalog. We will also use the catalog to present application examples and carbide troubleshooting methods.
